Well, my 11-2 run was fun while it lasted. 2-4 last night.
Hoping for better tonight and may play some later plays, but I want to see how the early games go.
Ohio State (+5')
Georgia Tech is everyone's fav team now that they won the Preseason NIT and Ohio State has been a disappointment at home. However, I go the opposite way tonight.
Syracuse (-10)
Another team who has started off the season in a slow and unimpressive manner.
However, I think the Cuse rolls here. This is a neutral site game so the Orange do not have to go to smalltown Olean, NY.
The Bonnies simply do not have enough bodies.
Butler (+2)
Butler has already played 3 games (2 away from Hinkle Fieldhouse) and Ball State has played one (home win over Xavier). Ball State has had over a week off and went home for Thanksgiving, while Butler was at home for the holiday since they played Michigan at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Butler plays better defense and is better fundamentally.
Temple (+4)
I don't like Rutgers laying points here. Even though Temple burned me on Saturday, I think they are a better team.
Miami-Ohio (+10')
Dayton comes off that big win in Maui. Dayton was smart not to schedule a game right away on Friday or Saturday coming back from Maui. However, they have been off for a week and may be a little rusty.
The RedHawks return 4 starters and should keep this close.
Clemson (+15)
The Tigers will be at the bottom of the ACC, but I like them here. I will go against Purdue off their trip from Alaska and their upset of Duke. Clemson matces up well especially inside b/c they have some big bodies and Purdue is usually bigger than their opponents.
Memphis (-23)
Total mismatch here.
Murray State (PK)
TCU has to come off a high of playing Kansas on National TV. They also played them well for 25-30 minutes. However, I like Murray's club and I am surprised they are not giving points.
Later leans include Duke/MSU Over, Virginia and Washington.
