2 straight winning nights, hopefully I make a 3rd straight so Kornholio will lose money since he likes to fade me, but never seems to post his own plays. As Dan Rather used to say, COURAGE!
Early plays:
Purdue (-4)
Purdue will play inspired since Matt Kiefer was ruled out indefinitely w/ a knee injury.
CSU has lost both their road games, including a 10-point loss to IUPUI.
The Rams are only shooting 31% from 3 and committing 19 TO's on avg in their 2 road games.
Florida (-2')
Lots of people on U of L, but I think Florida will be motivated over the next few games since that loss to the Canes at home.
U of L is not as deep as they have been in recent years and they struggle defending the perimeter shot.
Michigan (-9')
I know Michigan practically has their whole team out (3 starters), but that's why I like them here. USF has already had 2 players quit the team under a more hard-nosed coach Robert McCullum.
USF has played a pud schedule and I see Michigan playing inspired here.
Utah (+15)
Arizona historically not a good chalk.
Utah is a very good shooting team and Arizona has had lapses on defense this year. The Utes are shooting 53% from the floor overall and 49% on the road and 76% at the FT line.
Indiana (+13)
I hate to take this team knowing how I feel about Davis, but for the first time in years, I actually think that IU's guards (Wright, Strickland) may be better than UK's guards (Sparks, Rondo).
IU is a horrible, horrible shooting club. However, as shown against UConn, they can get hot for a few minutes and keep a game close.
IU has proven to be a good defensive club early. Their one struggle has been stopping dribble penetration. Sparks is not a driver, he is a 3-pt shooter.
Mike Davis knows that he has never beaten Kentucky. The Hoosiers were booed off the floor last Wednesday. They should come out w/ a better effort today.
WIll post more plays in a minute.
