Yesterday the 10 & 30 year moved quite a bit and then there was some bond sell off and the rates stabilized, causing the late day market rally.

This morning: 10 yr. moves above 1.45% and 30yr. trades above 2.30% taking out recent highs early this morning.

Any thoughts on this?

Could you even imagine investing in something because it gives you a 2.3% return?

Well, I don't think many individual investors buy these. A lot of state & local governments...plus the fed buys these. My concern with it is how it impacts interest rates (on mortgages and other lending products) as well as the market.

10-year hit 1.61 earlier today, it's at 1.53 now. This isn't good for the market....
