I got murdered last week with Georgia and wouldn't you know it, they come back to win at Tampa last night. wtf.

Thanks to my dish I was able to watch quite a few of the games last week and while I watched New York take my money I was really impressed with Garcia and his offense.

Todays NY-Chicago game should be high powered but I am sold on New York and will take them @ -140 instead of laying the 3 points. The Arena ML's have been low, it is almost like the bookmakers don't want to give out big pluses until they have a better handle on the games.

NY -140. I have also teased and parlayed this play with Syracuse. I have also made a small play laying the 3.

I like NY also. Garcia is great, but the big story in the Big Apple (other than Letterman fathering a son) is the Dragon defense. They held Georgia under 30 pts last week and have been very good since the middle of last year--"When the New York hired Shell midway through the season last year, the defense came alive. Gave up 59.3ppg during their first nine contests of 2003, but allowed just 41.5 ppg over their last seven regular season games."

So with two fairly even defenses, I'll take Garcia to outscore Philyaw by at least 2 pts.
