Noon game? Are you serious? Fuck, I'm probably going to have to miss it. Why the hell would OU/Texas not be the night game?

I see LSU/UF and PSU/Wisconsin are the two night games. OU and Texas are probably better than all four of those teams.

And why in the hell would you have to miss it?

That's your own fault for having "other" obligations...

I agree it's my own fault. Of coarse I don't expect the college schedule to fit itself around my calender, it just doesn't make sense to have arguably the biggest game of the season on at noon. A lot of the guys on the west coast won't even be up for the game at 9 am.

I would be on OU big except for one reason....

Will Muschamp

Be very very careful when dealing with this def. coordinator. He has been known to step up his game for the big ones (see- AU's record of last 3 years against top 10 opponents).

The tx/ou game is alwayes a day game either 12:00est or 3:30est, this game should be at 3:30.

I think OU wins big however, not confident enough to hit it. Will watch this one for the great tradition.

Texas DC Will Muschamp has those boys playing lights out. Don't forget, when he was the LSU DC he shut this Sooners offense down in the title game. Give me +7 or more for the ranch!

All this sounds soooooo familiar. Anyone remember the Nat'l Championship game where we weren't even supposed to show up for that game? Well, we did, AND WE WHIPPED THAT ASS!!!! Muschamp is the difference here. Do your homework and go see what Muschamp did to Kevin Long's offensive schemes back in the 2004 Nat'l Championship game (Mushchamp was D. Coordinator at LSU). Go ahead, put your money on OU. You'll be a L-O-S-E-R. Best rivalry on the planet too, BTW. BOL to everyone this week.

I loaded up on OU at 7....of course I'm a sooners fan, but I don't see Texas doing much with their leading rusher being Colt McCoy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Colt leave the game early hurt if he tries to run on the OU defense and Ryan Reynolds (see Cincinnati game). OU has several big play receivers in Iglesias, Johnson, Gresham and Broyles that can easily get behind an over aggressive defense and make you pay. That being said, I have not really been impressed by OU's running game thus far and I think that will be the deciding factor in how well they do. If they can run the ball well enough to keep the defense honest, they should be able to handle Texas, otherwise, I can see this game turning into a 'shootout' where the last team to have the ball wins.

Also, for what its worth, I am hearing that DeMarcus Granger will be back in the lineup for the Sooners, although they have not seemed to have dropped off without him. I would be confident in my play either way, but Granger is a huge emotional leader for the defense.

Texas is not very good. Colorado wouldve been right with them at half if they had a kicker. I see Olklahoma winning this by 20+
