1 pick for tomorrow.

Rosenborg +2 -108 at Pinny.

Chelsea has a bunch of injuries (and important ones) like Lampard, Drogba, Pizarro, amongst others.

Chelsea has struggled alot the last few games including a 0-0 draw with Blackburn just the other day and the defense has looked very suspect since the Premiership started.

Rosenborg +2

two goals in any game is a boatload....

two goals for a team with key injuries, problems scoring and a suspect defense is ridiculous.

It might lose, but Id do this over and over again any time I could.

is there any way chelsea loses straight up?
absolutely not

class difference is huge. Norway v England ratings is 18 v 2 and no Norwegian team even made it this far last year. Some of RBK's more recent group stage results were 1-5 at Arsenal and 1-4 at Real Madrid which are the only two "top 3" UEFA teams they've played in the last few years.

Chelsea are so incredibly deep that there is no prayer for RBK to win SU ... 2-0 or 3-0 is most likely score. Not sure why the 0-0 v Blackburn is even mentioned above as this is a big step down in class against a terrible traveler. RBK, in the poor Norwegian league, are 0-1-4 in their last 5 roadies with four of those matches against teams in the bottom half of the table.

BTW, this is most of my writeup for Chelsea -2 goals :)

WINNER!!!!!

I had Chelsea -2. All I can do is laugh though. Rosenborg had a couple of chances to actually win the match!!

Great call.

From the way you make it sound I am fortunate I wasn't able to watch either. I saw that Pennant got a red for Liverpool and I thought "of f*k, I am screwed". Stunned about Chelsea though, I don't care how badly they are playing, they have plenty of talent to not struggle at home against Rosenberg. Now I need Barca, Roma, Inter, Arsenal and ManU to finish off another parlay tomorrow, all at +.5

Crazy stuff. Really good you didn't watch it! The stats really don't prove much. Chelsea had all the possession but had a real lack of creativity weren't playing through the centre enough. They made no clear cut chances often taking poor shots from outside the area. Rosenborg scored through the setpiece and grew in confidence. The start of the second half, they had two pretty good chances that could have really sealed a huge upset. After Shevchenko scored, Chelsea started to open them up for a period of 10 mins, and hit the post twice. Quite unlucky. But apart from that spell of about 10-15 mins they didn't create anything. Very lacklustre performance.

On another night, Liverpool may have lost about 4 or 5-1. They couldn't keep the ball for more than a minute. Porto were dominating, attacking with pace, creating chances but just didn't have the luck.

A very bad night for the English sides, but Liverpool should be happy, they played terribly but got a point away from home against their toughest group opposition.

Thanks Rhinooo, I regretted putting pool into that parlay as soon as I did it. Guess I lucked out, especially with the card to Pennant. I don't understand Benitez sometimes, half the time I think he is a genius and the other half I think he is half a moron. Side selections seem so random.

Chelsea are having major major problems right now, they can't get Lampard back soon enough. Couldn't be happier that they are struggling the way they are.

Stoneridge Plaza is very near, Broadway Plaza is in Walnut Creek (about 15 min). Can't think of a ~Brook~ though

Great stuff Slim! Actually, great bullocks. Never been a big fan of the bloated line myself, yet could not envision this one would end up in a draw. Smoke em if you have em.
