1.5* 49ers -3(ev) over the Packers; extra rest & prep time invaluable.

49ers will have a huge advantage when it comes to rested bodies and preparation time. That extra preparation time for the 49ers Kapernick will be huge. It will give the 49ers that extra time that it needs to go through countless walk throughs for the read option that the Packers defense will find overly difficult to contain with Kap, Gore, Walker, Davis and the 49ers offensive line... That will keep a tired Packers defense on the field for long stretches, but more importantly keep the Packers Rodgers off the field, along with the 49ers defense. The Packers dump off options will be neutralized by Willis & Bowman outstanding LB play, leaving Rodgers to pass deep to keep the Packers chains moving. Will take my chances with a 49ers pass rush against a Packers offensive line that has put Rodgers on his back over 50 times this season. More updates and analysis pending on this game later this morning... Good Luck everyone & enjoy the games!!

Have to believe the Packers deep spread plays will be neutralized by having to keep extra players in and around Rodgers for protection from the 49ers pass rush (fresh/rested) and mostly due to a very suspect and tired Packers offensive line...

It's undeniable that Kaepernick gives the Packers defense look that they are not equipped to handle... His ability to run miss direction and break off huge chunks of yards, while also having to worry about his rocket arm hitting you deep to Crabtree, while at the same time freeing up Gore, Walker, & Davis from any extra attention that they would normally get if it wasn't for the dynamic demensions that Kaepernick brings to the field... Something to contemplate as the game grows near?!?!

I expect this to be the most entertaining game of the weekend. I like the 49ers as well. The Pack is still just too one dimensional.

You make it seem that Aaron Rodgers has never played a playoff game before. The fact is, Kaepernick has no PLAY OFF experience. Look at Joe Webb, and Andrew Luck. Look at Matt Ryan and Andy Dalton during their rookie campaign, Look at Eli Manning, and countless other QBs leading there "Stellar" teams in their play off DEBUT. I'll take Aaron Rodgers +3 and money line. Let's see if Kaepernick can prove me wrong. Good Luck...

I like Rodgers a lot myself... I don't like his offensive line that put him on his back over 50 times this season going against a rested 49ers front seven... I never said I didn't like Rodgers...

Is it just me or does Kaepernick run the read option just a little bit better than Joe Webb... Tried to tell you RXMAN that this isn't your normal rookie... Sorry you missed out cashing with me... Better Luck next time!!
