3-0 on New Year's Eve after Tuesday's disaster.

I'll post the early evening since I will be out all day. May post the late Pac-10 games in the early evening hours.

Appalachian St (+15')
The Gamecocks may be looking ahead to their SEC home opener versus the Gators on Wed. App St has played well in spots on the road (including a win at SMU).

Tennessee-Martin (+3)
UT-Martin is 3-0 on their home floor even though they are only 4-7 on the year. Portland St is only 2-6 on the road this year, but did win on the 30th at Tennessee State. They have been in Tennessee since the 29th and are probably eager to go home.

Southern Illinois (-3)
SIU has won 29 in a row at home (2nd longest win streak in the nation). Charlotte still may be overvalued from their win at Syracuse.

I think they may get in trouble shooting too many 3's and SIU will have some good runs.

Kansas (-13)
Villanova is overrated, period. I know this KU team is not as good as recent years past teams, but they still can get big-time spurts at home.

Rice (+11)
Emeka Okafor returns home to Houston. However, he does so in UConn's first true road game. Rice almost upset a very good Stanford team at home earlier this year.

UConn has been killing people over the last 2 weeks. They won their 6 December games by an average of 32 points. This seems like a small # here. I think Rice stays competitive throughout.

Nice looking card as I have a lot of the same plays. The only one to beware is the Salukis. This team is overrated and not coached as well with Painter than Weber. I look for Charlotte to win this game outright and already proved they can win in tough road game. Also, student body will not be back to give overwhelming home court advantage in this one. Best of luck.

Add:

USC (+2)
All the hoopla around the football team may inspire these guys and piss them off.

Oregon State (+10')
Played these guys tough in Pauley last year. I just can't lay double-digits with the Bruins knowing how they play down to competition.

OSU has a pretty good X's and O's guy in Jay John (former Arizona Assist).

The Bruins are a terrible FT shooting team and Morrison is out and he is their only consistent deep threat.

Kojak, obviously, SIU is not as well-coached. Painter is only in his first year and Weber has been a coach for 20+ years. However, Painter was a gritty player out of a good program (Purdue) and I would rank him over a lot of other young coaches.

Looks like a rough night ahead anyway.

Kansas has no offense or defense. There outside shooting is pathetic if not the worst in the Big 12, which causes the other team to sag inside. Simien only had 4 touches last game because teams are now sagging so much on the inside and Padgett is only averaging 4pts. and 3 reb. a game versus Div. I teams. My play of the day is Villanova +13. Good Luck All.

Wow! That's a pretty brave pick at halftime. Your willingness to really go out on a lim astounds me. Get out of my threads, jagoff.

Hoosier Daddy,

good call on Tennessee Martin but I tried to get you off of Salukis. I went to Purdue and know Painter. Just trying to warn you a little without being cocky. Our Ku pick went sour in the end but I am with you on Oregon St. Best of luck.

Sportsmonitor,

Then why do you feel the need to post in someone's thread just to rub it in. I'll match my status on this board and my capping abilities up against yours any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
