I am surprised that Pitt is an 11 point underdog to UConn. Reminds me of Duke/Wake on Saturday in which I cashed with Duke. Pitt is capable of taking this game but the line reflects an obvious lack of respect for Pitt and their schedule. UConn is probably the sharp side to be on here and with me being a Pitt fan and having that bias, the game is a pass. I will tell you this, if you like college basketball, this game is a MUST WATCH Big East game. It will be physical and entertaining... Plays -

Pitt almost pulled it off but I think clearly dismissed all the "overrated" talk that was going on in here yesterday. Bilas pointed out that Pitt's schedule was comparable to St. Joe's and St. Joe's is ranked #3 which shows that these polls are nothing more than window dressing. Anyway... I just noticed that my NCAA & NBA records are almost identical. 3 more losses in NCAA is it. Strange. Well, I guess I am consistent.

Was just reading the paper and ST. Joe's is #1 in the RPI so I thought I may be eating crow. I took a look at their schedule and the only real notable team they beat was Gonzaga. St. Joe's has played many more road games than Pitt however. Their schedule ranking is 19th while Pitt is 120th?? I was reporting what Bilas said and looking at the schedules it doesn't seem much different. The road games must factor into schedule strength pretty heavily I guess. Interesting.
