bowl season doesnt suck. schedule big 12, big 12, sec opponents 5-10 years in advance, not difficult. utah SHOULD play in a bcs game. the title game? i dont think so, nor do i think they are deserving of such. but a bcs game? that is an accomplishment. why have playoffs? every week is a playoff in itself. you want to move up, score 70 on your opponents every week or schedule the best which is the big 12/big 10/sec.
Pac-10 teams schedule D2 schools in-conference. Washington, Washington State may be two of the worst teams in the history of "BCS" Conferences.
Now, how is that fair?
It wouldn't be!!!
A team with four losses should not have a chance to become national champion.
Long live the BCS system.

Your a true CFB fan, and precisely why you get it.
PLAYOFFS are hogwash........they should be eliminated in every sport.
No major sport crowns a more TRUE CHAMPION at this time than CFB................
Why can't they invite 16 teams for a playoff tournament?
The four remaining teams play on New Years Day and the big show down a week later.
The rest of the teams with at least six wins goes status quo.
WTF is with all the time off between end of season and Jan. 1st about anyway, get real and play some damn games.
The biggest set back is the fat cat schools and bowls who will lose their big slice of the revenue pie.
Also these smaller schools will have better recruits knowing they have a shot at a championship.
i dont think you can do this because you would have to significantly shorten the regular season and this would take money away from the smaller schools who rely on getting that money for playing the floridas, ohio states, oklahomas etc
exactly. these guys dont get it. college basketball is hands down the worst sport to watch. 4 meaningless months of games that mean essentially nothing until you get into the tournament. granted i like march madness, but every week in cfb is march madness in itself which is why it is so great. im just hoping nothing gets changed, i think the system is pretty much perfect the way it is.

Really ? In other words either Texas or Oklahoma would sit ! Sounds fair to me ! Are you and Fish smoking ?The only thing I would recommend is that no team that didn't win its conference could get into the playoffs...
What a great so called system We have going here. Now it's up to some biased voters in suits to decide that either Texas or Oklahoma should sit ! Now that sure is a great system right ! Go back to smoking whatever it is you have as you are the one that don't get it.exactly. these guys dont get it. college basketball is hands down the worst sport to watch. 4 meaningless months of games that mean essentially nothing until you get into the tournament. granted i like march madness, but every week in cfb is march madness in itself which is why it is so great. im just hoping nothing gets changed, i think the system is pretty much perfect the way it is.
