No.I just pointed out you want to categorize teams in a way that benefits you.

It is all fine it is all the way in which we view things. You have your opinion and I have mine.
You make good points and some not so much as I see it.
It is all good for people to view and think about.

I personally view the playoffs as its own season and what I see is 90% of the bowl as opposed to a small portion in the regular season.
2007 and 2012 Giants are a perfect example of why.
I also consider historical context which is why I bought to 3.5.
Enjoy the game.
Will be interesting to examine after it is over.

TOUGH loss. SF should have known they HAD to have a TD in overtime.

KC
TD
M. Valdes-Scantling 16 yards passing from P. Mahomes ( H. Butker kick)
10 - 13
4th Quarter
11:22
SF
TD
J. Jennings 10 yards passing from B. Purdy ( J. Moody failed kick)
16 - 13
The game never gets to OT if SF makes the extra point.

Chiefs got the 3rd Qtr TD on the botched punt return at the SF 16 yd line. Next play a pass in the End zone for a KC TD.

Its like that so often. Turnovers decided the winner.

Congrats to the Chief winners.

It was still, a very good year...

Yeah KC has had a horseshoe up their ass for awhile...regardless, opportunity comes out of preparation.

The irony is that if Mahomes doesn't get the game winning drive Moody may have been MVP?
Probably would have given it to CMC.

"You can’t assume SF wins if he makes it."
Correct.
Everything that follows would have changed.

Example.
It's like when a guy gets thrown out trying to steal second base.
Next player hits a home run.
People say, "If the runner had stayed at first base it would have been a two-run homer."
Incorrect.
If the runner had stayed at first base the pitcher would not have been throwing from the stretch, and the guy who homered would have gotten a different pitch.

Everything that followed the missed extra point - play calling, strategy, timing - would be different, just like the pitches after the runner got thrown out.

The botched punt at the SF 16 in the 3rd qtr was the game changer.. Take away the TD and KC never scores.
KC was being shut down. That one turnover gave them the momentum they never had up to that point.

I agree with LSU Pete.
SF had bad play calling in OT and should have never went for the FG. At worst - they would have had KC in the hole there. Not one pass attempt in the end zone? bad call.

SF lost Greenlaw DB and thats also when kC started moving the ball at 8 minutes in the 3rd for the Fg. Before that KC was being shut down.. It was 10-3 before Greenlaw went out. He was a key defensive back for SF and it changed the whole defense.
Mahomes threw there against the backup the rest of the game. It was how they were able to move the ball. Thats how KC scored.
Both teams had turnovers in the opponents scoring zones and that also was meaningless on the scoreboard. No one was damaged by those.

Just the Botched Punt at the SF 16 was the game winner for KC. KC had 10 points in the 3rd which were only the cause of losing Greenlaw and the botched fumbled punt. Before that they were punting and had nothing.

All-in-all, SF lost in OT and KC played better because of Greenlaw being out and the Chiefs drove the ball 75 yards to win the game.

Watch it!

You also can't assume that they get the TD. 4th and 6 is no gimmie!
Can you find where I said they would have scored??

And Greenlaw is a LB not a DB
